
Lowell began acting when she appeared in Dangerously Close. She then played a small part on the Robin Williams film Club Paradise. 4 She progressed to roles that included co-starring as Bond girl Pam Bouvier in the James Bond film Licence to Kill (1989) and, starting in 1996 acting as assistant district attorney Jamie Ross for two seasons in the drama television series Law & Order, a character she reprised on the show in 2005 for a guest role on its spinoff, Law & Order: Trial by Jury, and also on the original series in 2022, when it was relaunched for the 21st season. 6] She was unhappy with her acting career, so she sought out New York University to study documentary filmmaking.
