Time magazine named her one of the top 100 influential people in the world in 2006 and 2015, and Forbes listed her as one of the World's 100 Most Powerful Women in 2019 and 2021. Forbes declared her the World's Richest Actress in 2021. Her net worth is estimated at $400 million. Witherspoon first appeared on screen in the year 1991 as she was a teenager. Her breakout came in 1999, with the role of a supporting actress in Cruel Intentions as well as her performance as Tracy Flick in the black comedy Election.
