Harry Edward Styles, known to the world of music in the world of music as Harry Styles, is a British musician and singer who is regarded as a member of the group One Direction. Based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school where, with three other students, he founded his musical group, White Eskimo. They participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their outstanding performances, they won. Despite having an interest in music He also wished to become a lawyer or the profession of physiotherapist. When he worked in the city's pastry shop Harry Styles managed to support his family. Harry Styles, in 2010 made an audition for The X Factor. His song Is not She Lovely was recorded by Stevie Wonder. This is why his group were forced to split. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury participant on The X Factor suggested Harry Styles be part of a group called One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group. They were first founded in the year 2010. The band performed songs like My Life Would Suffer Without You from Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. They were one of the contenders for the award. They were however placed third just behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Even though Harry Styles and his group were not crowned winners, Cowell signed a deal worth 2 million pounds to One Direction to sign with the Syco recording label.
