Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American actor, voice actress director producer, and vocalist. She is a beautiful and knowledgeable actress, she's an inspiration for numerous Asian actors who want to become famous in Hollywood. After several appearances on popular television series her name was a household name after being cast on the Ally McBeal legal comedy where she portrayed Ling Woo. In the wake of her popularity, she was offered significant part for her in Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). In Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave an outstanding performance as Japanese crime boss O-Ren Ishii.
