Swift let go of the influences from her country music like they were an extra layer of skin, revealing she was among the finest singers/songwriters from her time. Swift could make the event personal and use the moment to benefit. Her talents were apparent in some of her earliest tracks, notably the Neodue Tim McGraw. But on the second album Fearless which came out in 2008, Swift discovered the person she was and reach a wide audience. Fearless was successful not only on American soil, with six platinum-certified songs. The Top Ten songs Love Story and the hit song You Belong with Me were the most important reasons. It also performed exceptionally well throughout the world. Swift's next album, Speak Now, released just two years after the previous one, built on the success of this album. It helped propel Swift into the spotlight. Through her next three albums, Red (2012) 1989 (2004) and Reputation (2017) Reputation (2017), the popularity of Swift grew, and she found herself in the world of pop music in which it became clear she was a part of. Her name was always on top of the charts even after she changed her signature style in her twin albums, folklore and Evermore in 2020.
